Some of you may remember that a little while ago, Bohdan was in speech therapy. He has since graduated and is now in charge of making sure I say things correctly (the way he wants).
We've been having this conversation lately:
Bohdan: Mommy, I love you.
Me: I love you Bohdan.
Bohdan: Mommy! That's wrong!
Me: (sigh)
Bohdan: Mommy I love you.
Me: I love you too.
Bohdan: That's better.
Let me know if you need any help with your speech. He's available for consultations.

The Circus Comes To Town
This past weekend the Barnum and Bailey Circus came to Greenville. Wok got us all tickets as a Christmas gift, but couldn't go because she got caught in the freak snow storm in Texas.
So, we grabbed Lucas and headed out!
Right before the show. Think the boys are excited?
One of the many elephants parading around during the intro. Let me tell you-those things stink!
A really awesome juggling act. They had several jugglers that would come out while they prepared the stage for the next act. They were all amazing!
The finale. The jugglers had fierery torches they juggled to one another. It was amazing!
One of the three stages of horses. The last one had zebras. The kids loved seeing them.
He is entranced.
The tiger show. It was incredible to see how large these creaters are compared to the trainer. He's in there with all these tigers and they do the tricks he asks them to do.
There were more acts, but the boys took turns sitting in laps and toward the end I had Lucas in mine. It was kinda hard to take pictures while snuggling.

Truth With Dirt on Their Faces
Meet Stas and Bohdan.
These are my boys. They are rough, silly, mischievous and the best kids ever. I mean that. Really.
They keep me grounded. They keep me real and they keep me hopping. They also entertain me and take care of me. I have two boys to kiss boo-boos, help with chores, snuggle and tell me I'm the best Mommy ever. Lucky? You bet.
The title of this blog is from one of my favorite quotes:
A boy is Truth with dirt on its face,
Beauty with a cut on its finger,
Wisdom with bubble gum in its hair,
and the Hope of the future with a frog in its pocket.
When I was pregnant with Stas, my girlfriend sent me a magazine clipping with that quote. It is so true. You can view the entire poem by Alan Beck here.
Strap in, it's going to be a bumpy ride.
